anthony jones master copy
i havent done much personal work in a long time, but sometimes i do these studies to keep learning. this is a master copy of one of the designers i've been following lately, anthony jones. apparently he does lots of master copies as well, so im sure he'd be cool with me doin one of him...

form/style study, 3/5/10
created a form by putting down random lines... rendered it out a bit... trying to get less of a painterly style and more of a rendering style out of this brush.... same brush i used in the previous post....
my goal.. have better understanding of form, be better at style.. trans majors seem to have those things down.. time to step it up...

new coroflot portfolio!
i just uploaded some of my work up on coroflot these past couple days. its already been getting some pretty good feedback so far! its about time i put myself out there... ahh i just keep wishing i had more polished work to show off...
i really feel like im part of the new generation of designers now... especially seeing how much my sketch techniques differ from the old school designers... i learned those old school techniques from teachers, too... just that its different now that we're on the same playing field.
as part of the new generation i guess its my responsibility to push for new and better ways to design... wish me luck... and hope i dont starve to death cuz of my idealistic nature~
